This amazing country is located in the Southeast Asia, on the peninsulas of Indochina and Malacca, washed by the Andaman sea and the Gulf of Thailand of the South China sea. Thailand is a country of unique color and diversity. Its main attraction is the majestic Bangkok. This city is the champion among the cities of the Earth by the length of the name, as well as the hottest city in the world. Its sights are enchanted by its extraordinary architecture: amazing buildings, ancient temples, palaces, parks and one of the most important attractions – the Grand Palace.
Thailand is a country of unique oriental culture, that has developed over many centuries, and has absorbed elements of Indian, Chinese, Western civilizations. At the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada the unique culture and amazing traditions of this country will be presented by the Folk Dance Group «Satit Silpakorn». Its extraordinarily vivid performances reflect the unity of the culture of the Thai people and are aimed at preserving and developing the traditions and folklore of the regions of Thailand.
