Королевство Нидерландов  – страна тюльпанов. Нидерланды расположены в Западной Европе, омываются водами Северного моря. В состав страны входят 12 провинций и десятки островов. Нидерланды – одна из самых густонаселённых стран Европы. Здесь расположен самый крупный порт Европы – Роттердам. Большинство территорий государства находится ниже уровня моря, а потому местным жителям веками приходилось отвоевывать собственные земли у морской стихии. Нидерланды – страна ветряных мельниц, традиционных деревянных башмаков, удивительных мостов и архитектурных сооружений. Это родина голландского сыра и тюльпана – главного цветка, украшения и гордости страны. 
Культура Нидерландов отличается самобытностью и своеобразными традициями. Неповторимый колорит традиций и фольклора Нидерландов на VI Всемирной фольклориаде CIOFF® представит танцевальный коллектив «Paloina Amsterdam». Выступления коллектива, который состоит из 30 танцоров и 6 музыкантов, основаны на голландской музыке и танцах в традиционных костюмах. «Paloina Amsterdam» является участником многих фестивалей как в самих Нидерландах, так и за рубежом. 


The Kingdom of the Netherlands  is a land of tulips. The Netherlands is located in Western Europe, washed by the waters of the North Sea. The country consists of 12 provinces and dozens of islands, it is one of the most populous countries in Europe. Here is the largest port in Europe – Rotterdam. The Netherlands is a country of lowlands, most of its territories are below sea level, and therefore the local residents for centuries had to conquer their own land from the sea element. 
The Netherlands is a country of windmills, traditional wooden shoes, amazing bridges and architectural structures. It is the birthplace of Dutch cheese and tulip – the main flower, decoration and pride of the country. 
Dutch culture is distinguished by originality and unique traditions. At the VI CIOFF® World Folkloriada the Dance Group «Paloina Amsterdam» will present the unique flavor of traditions and folklore of the Netherlands. 
The performances of the team, which consists of 30 dancers and 6 musicians, are based on Dutch music and dances in traditional costumes. The Dance Group «Paloina Amsterdam» is a participant of many festivals both in the Netherlands and abroad.
